
BELYNICHI DISTRICT, Sept. 1 (BelTA) — Investing in the education system is a contribution to the future of our country, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said during a re-entry ceremony at Vishov Secondary School in the Belynichi district on September 1, BelTA learned.
“Our beloved homeland, our Republic of Belarus, consists of small colonies. We are here to emphasize once again that our country is not only the capital, large regional centers and cities of regional subordination, but also agro-cities like your beautiful and dear Vishov. Of course, we are also here to congratulate you on Knowledge Day. I vividly remember that day when I first went to school, as well as all the back-to-school ceremonies I attended until I graduated. This day will always be one of the brightest in your life, ”Roman Golovchenko told school students.

The Prime Minister stressed that school is an important place for every person, because it gives knowledge. “Knowledge is something without which it is impossible to live today, because our whole economy – not only Belarusian, but also global – is a knowledge economy. Only with knowledge can you become an educated person and achieve professional and professional heights in life. Therefore, education is one of the key areas on which the attention of the country’s leaders is focused. We do our best to create comfortable, safe and convenient conditions for education,” said Roman Golovchenko.


According to Roman Golovchenko, this year, as in previous years, new educational institutions will be opened throughout the country. On September 1, four general secondary educational establishments will open in Belarus. “Dozens of schools, hundreds of different types of educational institutions have been built in the country during the years of our independence,” he continued. “It’s because our country continues to develop. Young Belarusians too. This year, the school population will be over 1 million. These guys are the young generation, who will soon replace us and take their rightful place in a sovereign and independent Belarus. We invest everything we can in our education system because that is where the future of our country lies. »
The Prime Minister expressed his special gratitude to the teachers who put their heart, soul and knowledge into nurturing and educating the younger generation. Roman Golovchenko congratulated parents and children on the start of the new school year and wished it to be joyful and unforgettable. Then he attended the lesson “Historical memory – the road to the future”, talked to first-graders and presented them with gifts from the president – the book “Belarus is our homeland”.
