The future of education in Qatar – and how it will equip the country’s youth for the jobs of tomorrow will be discussed in the latest edition of the Qatar Foundation (QF) Bel Arabi Foundation’s Education City speaker series, so that the dialogue platform welcomes HE Buthaina bint Ali al-Jabr al-Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education.
The third edition of Bel Arabi – to be held in Arabic, with Arabic sign language available – will take place in the Special Events area of the Qatar National Library from 4-5pm on September 5. It will also be streamed live on QF social media. Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the event titled “Investing in the Future: How Qatar Shapes Leaders through Education” will see al-Nuaimi speak about Qatar’s e-learning strategy, reflecting and reaffirming national identity through education, and ensuring the country’s educational ecosystem prepares students in Qatar for successful careers by developing the skills the market needs.
With each edition focusing on global trends and topics – which previously ranged from the Covid-19 pandemic, youth empowerment and sustainability to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the Israeli occupation of Palestine – QF’s Education City Speaker Series provides an opportunity for the public to hear and interact with experts and thought leaders from Qatar, the region and around the world.
