light box had some incredible experiences this year, such as add First rank, a leader in audio solutions company, to our family of brands and winning multiple educational technology awards* including Overall EdTech Company of the Year. Although our expansion and victories are remarkable, which allows us to continue are the the partners, customers, and the educators with whom we engage. Some members of our Boxlight family have shared their favorite experiences of this past year.
What has been your favorite experience this year presenting our solutions at an educator conference?
I loved my week on the road with the Mobile MimioSTEM like Braydon (Moreno) and I figured out how to create the most engaging demo possible. It was so fun to see what appealed to educators in our interactive mission to Mars and refine the experience before Braydon took it across the country.
Have the MimioSTEM Mobile on the (conference) floor and introduce our STEM solutions to all attendees.
I love it when a customer reacts in complete surprise when I share with them all that Boxlight includes with our classy touch screen (interactive display) solutions.
FETC (Future of Education Technology Conference) in Orlando, Florida was a great opportunity to meet like-minded techies looking for ways to bring more technological solutions in their schools and classrooms.
GAETC (Georgia Educational Technology Conference) in Atlanta! I had so much fun sharing our solutions with educators all over Georgia!
What has been your favorite experience with educators?
I especially enjoyed working with Vanessa Miller of Grace Christian School (Cypress, CA) as she worked on a project to build a fully functional 3D printed violin using our Robo3D printers.
I really enjoyed sharing MyStemKits with GAETC educators. They were all so enthusiastic and impressed with our STEM solutions!
I love being there and hearing the enthusiasm of the teachers when they first learn about how our interactive screens engage their students with our easy-to-use technology.
Training of 30 teachers from the Greenfield Union School District (Bakersfield, CA) in the use 3D printers in their respective classes.
I always enjoy traveling across the country to do professional development and get teachers interested in our STEM solutions, but this year I was able to attend Father Yermo Elementary School (El Paso, TX) while the students were in session. It was so much fun training their teacher and seeing her immediately put it into action with her students. Seeing both his enthusiasm and the excitement of his students about all their new tech tools was definitely a highlight!
What has been your favorite experience with your team?
Traveling the MimioSTEM Mobile with our Mission to Mars project and visiting over 50 schools and districts across the country with our business partners.
Working with the entire EOS team with Port Arthur ISD (Port Arthur, TX) was an incredible collaborative effort to plan and deliver a multi-day professional development conference covering everything from SEL (socio-emotional learning) to stem.
For me, this year has been synonymous with learning! I really enjoyed learning about all of our amazing products and sharing my knowledge with our customers and partners.
Which solution do you think will be the “rock star” solution for 2023?
Our audio solutions (FrontRow from Boxlight) will be the rock stars in 2023! They’re easy to use and integrate with our interactive technology for emergency alerts and blended learning.
All the things MimioSTEM! The convenience of a single solution for a school’s STEM education needs is enormous. Having one team for professional development and support, and one platform for all STEM products makes it simple so teachers can focus on what matters most: their students.
the light box family looks forward to continued success and collaboration with our partners and customers. Thank you for an amazing 2022!
