The purpose of this article is to share with you some great resources where you can search and access a wide range of pre-made Google Slides and PowerPoint templates. I have already reviewed each of these resources in separate articles. Simply click on each title to access its corresponding review.
Using these resources will allow you to create professional-looking presentations without the need for prior knowledge of graphic design. You will be able to access templates covering different topics, from lesson planning to business and marketing. You can also use the built-in filters to search for specific templates by level, subject, and license.
1. SlidesCarnival
SlidesCarnival is a platform that provides access to a wide variety of free PowerPoint templates and Google Slides themes that you can easily modify and use in your own presentations. The templates cover various topics including education, technology, business, science, and more. How SlidesCarnival works is simple: find the template you like, add it to your PowerPoint or Google Slides editor, then edit it however you like.
You can search the SlidesCarnival template library using the search box at the top right corner of the homepage. Type your query and browse the results. You can refine your search by color, style or tags. Use the top bar to access the main tags: Formal, Inspirational, Creative, Simple, Startup, Elegant, Playful, and Professional.
2. Slidesaccess
Slidesgo is another good platform that offers a wide variety of free Google Slides and PowerPoint templates. The way it works is simple: search the library, save the ones you like to your Google or PowerPoint slides, open the saved version to customize and edit them however you want.
Slidesgo templates come preloaded with a wide variety of graphic assets, including editable icons, infographics, maps, and more. Many Slidesgo templates are free, but free users should keep the attribution links where they are in the templates.
3. SlidesMania
SlidesMania is a platform that provides access to a wide variety of free editable PowerPoint and Google Slides templates. There are over 200 free templates categorized into different categories including: Business, Education, Formal, Fun, Simple, Professional, By Edu for Edu, Popular and more.
SlidesMania has made it very easy to use its templates in your Google Slides or PowerPoint presentations. The process is simple and here is how it works. First, browse through the template collections, use the categories in the top bar or use the search feature located in the upper right corner.
When you find the model you are interested in, click to open it. Follow the instructions and watch the accompanying video tutorial (not all models have video tutorials, however). Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find the “Download PowerPoint” button and the “Open in Google Slides” button.
Click on the one you want and follow the instructions. For example, when you click Open in Google Slides, you’ll be taken to the Slides version of the template. Be sure to click the blue “Use Template” button in the upper right corner to open the template in the Google Slides editor where you can start the customization process.
