Tract’s latest update for the new school year can be found in the form of project guides. Many teachers have asked for a little more guidance on how best to use Tract. Tract’s response was to create complete project guides for teachers.
Tract currently offers project guides for third year, fourth yearand fifth year projects. Project guides for grades six, seven and eight are on the way. To better understand how Tract’s project guides are formatted, see the project guide for Should the art course be compulsory? (the link opens a Google Drive file).
Each of the Leaflet Project guides are curriculum-aligned and designed to help teachers easily incorporate short videos from the Tract library into fun learning activities for students. According to Tract’s marketing department, the goal is to “Turn kids’ media consumption into a launching pad for an enriching educational experience that supports project-based learning, Genius Hour, social and emotional learning, GATE, and more.”
